names go in fads. If and when my wife and I have children, we will make sure that they aren't named the same thing as half the children in the county their age. the latest craze is finding a different way to spell a cliche name

What sucks even worse is when your parents tried to give you a less than horribly common name, then every single female born in the next 3 years gets the same name.

I am really tempted to change my name. The worse is when I'm out somewhere and some lazy ass is yelling at their kid with the same first name.

Here you can type in any name, and it will graph its popularity by year. If you type in your parents names, or your grandparents, the peak of their popularity will likely be near the year of their birth.

lol, people get pissed at me because they try to get my attention and I just keep on walking like I'm ignoring them. It's a no win situation. Piss people off or constantly being annoyed at hearing your name.

Bronson was pretty popular in recent times, but almost no one named their kid Bronson in 2003 specifically. Strange.

and apparently....

DICK peaked in the 1930's. (that's what she said)

Lyda is a million times better than Lauren. Maybe my mom was smoking something while preggo.

When I was a kid I wished my name was Dale. Still think it's a lot better than what I've got.

I plan on naming my son(s) William or John.

I haven't really considered what I'd name a daughter because I hate the idea of having a daughter.
