basically, you bid that your team is going to take a certain number of tricks like in spades, but the bidding and scoring is quite a bit more complicated

Hearts is every (wo)man for himself, 4 player. You get leik 13 cards or whatever 52/4. They are random and you try to get rid of all of all of your cards. Whoever has the 2 of clubs or something stards by putting down a card then you go around the circle and you have to play in the same suite if you have it, whoever puts down the highest card wins the pack and you get points for all of the hearts in that pack. And some people play that the jack of diamondz is -10 points.


i probably fucked up the rules there somewhere because i haven't played it in like 2 years.

in hearts you don't want to get any points. highest card wins the trick (as long as it's in the same suit as the leading card). each heart with worth 1 point and the queen of spades is worth 13 points. If you can somehow get every heart in the deck plus the queen of spades you will do what is called "shooting the moon" and you will get 0 points and everyone else will get 26
