1. bottombaby, yesterday I caught a bunch of fish. These fish include a few perch, and quite a few trout. I froze them when I got home, and now they are in the fridge thawing out. How would you go about preparing them for dinner?

Okay, tomorrow - hopefully trying to find a new job for the summer. A month from now I hope to be working, trying to enjoy some of my summer for once, and hopefully saving some money. My plan for that is my previous answer. A year from now I would like to be very close to finally graduating. My plan for that is to finish the classes I have right now so that I can continue taking classes in the coming fall semester and the following spring. Outside of school, where my life will hopefully be/where I would like my life to be is dependent on things I really don't want to detail on thewolfweb. Five years from now, I'd like to be married. I don't really have a plan for that because I'm not on the prowl. I think one way or another that will happen. I'd like to have a career that I enjoy, possibly teaching, and be preparing to start a family (hey, I'm not getting any younger). I may still be in school, depending on how far i decide that I want to pursue my education. My plans for continuing school or having a career I enjoy are contingent on my aforementioned school plans. I hope to still be having fun, in general. My plan to make that happen is just to be myself. In fifteen years (oh lord, I'll be almost 40) hopefully my whole life will make sense. I'll have a family, a career that I love, free time to spend with my family and just do the things that I enjoy doing. I hope to have accomplished enough by that point that i feel that i have made a difference in people's lives, be they students or otherwise, and still have plenty of things on my list to accomplish.

I would take those perch out of the freezer and thaw completely....

Fillet them and be sure there are no stray bones; then clean well.

Whisk together some milk, eggs, and a a splash of italian dressing-

Then i would mix up some bread crumbs with garlic, onion, cayenne pepper (lots), paprika, and any other spices you thoroughly enjoy.

Dip the fillets into the milk concoction, rollin bread crumbs, and then cover with a healthy layer of fresh black pepper-

Heat up some oil in a pan and fry or broil

well totally...


i'd fillet them, season them (your choice...maybe something like a cajun spice mix?), sqeeze fresh lemon juice on them, wrap them in aluminum foil and put them on the grill. make some veggie kabobs to grill also - zucchini, squash, onion if you like, etc. and since i can't think of another side, but for some reason am craving mashed potatoes, mashed potatoes, lol - maybe even garlic.




or grill them and serve over fresh baby spinach with some kind of fruit/mango salsa type stuff. the first one sounds better to me.

hahha i blacken in an iron pan on the grill..

that way the smoke goes outside and you don't have to flip as often...when both sides of the fish are heated.
