I've got the FM transmitter and it's a piece of shit so I'm looking to upgrade.
Most of the systems are somewhat expensive and finding a compatible one is a bit difficult.

So far, all I've found is a "Neo Adapter" at http://carplayer.com/

It's 200 bucks and looks like it can be easily installed but I'm always skeptical. It claims to be compatible with my car

Any personal recommendations? Am I better off just buying a new head unit that's already IPOD ready? For the record I drive a '99 Accord and have an Eclipse model CD3414 head unit

Thanks

I don't have a name for it, but I had one on my old F150 that plugged into the antenna slot on the back of the stereo and allowed for the antenna to be plugged into it. While switched off, it did not interfere with FM transmission, but when cut on, would override the broadcast signal directly through the back of the stereo. I never had any trouble with it at all.

my ipod head unit deal was probably my best purchase of last year. navigation is a little bit of a pain, but otherwise i love it.
