I know dick about cars i need advice.

Here is what I care about:

1) A car that I think looks cool.

2) A car that makes girls want to fuck me.

3) A car that other guys dont think is gay.


Here is what I don't care about:

1) A car that has sick "specs". Girls don't give a fuck about this and neither do I. I don't even know what any of that shit means so there is no value added for all this cost.


Does a 3 series fit? I'm only looking to spend probably $30k or so, too practical to really spend a lot so don't recommend crazy ass things that I've never heard of. I want a good interest rate on the loan, so I'm flexible with whether I buy new or used.

Also, is "certified" used a rip off or a good thing? Also, should i look at dealers or at a place like carmax? I'm picky about the color so I feel like the dealer may be a better route but I dont want to get ripped off either.

if you could give us some better info on what you want, like mpg, hp, room, sound system from the factory,cost of repairs,interior options and so on. i think we can help you out. im not trolling you at all and do not take it that way but if you want real answers to real questions i think lots of people could give you lots of help and steer you in the right direction.

if you are REALLY dead set on a car that girls want to get in you have to take in to consideration whats type of girl you are trying to rail. if you want to rail a pornstar your going to need to get something other than a 3 series. if you like the emo girls a honda element or a scion tc will work fine. if you are into hippies then get a prius, if you like black ghetto girls get a suburban on 22s or something

corvettes are funny vehicles. they go through a lot of different stages/stigmas as they age, unlike any other vehicle i can think of off hand.

my opinion may be a little biased, but in an attempt not to be a c5 (1997-2004) corvette does sound about perfect for you. i didn't really buy mine for any of those reasons though, i basically only care about what you don't care about (performance/function). if i could pass it off as something else, i would because of the label/attention that comes with it.

c4 corvettes (1984-1996) while dirt cheap and otherwise fit your criteria very well are definitely a little if not a lot redneck at the moment. that will change again as their value starts rising in a few years though, and they'll take on more of the c3's current characteristics. still a corvette though, and that name alone commands a lot in the looks cool/chicks dig it/whatever world. if you do go this route, you'll definitely want to go with a 1991-1996 model for the more modern looking interior especially and updated exterior as well. the 1984-1989 cars just scream 80's all over and 1990's had the newer interior but still the old body.

one that i haven't seen mentioned yet is a bmw z3 roadster. maybe borderline on #3 especially with the smaller engine, but more than doable i'd say. go for the "m" and there's no question of manhood and everything else is already there.

agree on these as well. don't forget the brother of the 350z either, the g35 coupe. the infiniti badge definitely scores more points in most if not all areas of your criteria. for the boxster, i'd go for the "s" model or you risk #3.

on the 3 series, it really depends on what you're talking about. e36 318? hell no. e46 330 or the like? sure.

i'm a little torn on the s2k. it's got everything, but it's still got a honda badge which might be a problem for #2 (sorry baonest, girls are dumb ).

then you've always got the option of an older porsche 911 or some other sort of "classic", but with this you run into reliability issues and will have to be prepared to feed it a fairly regular diet of cash.

I agree with Hurley, this thread sucks. But- FOR ONCE- slowblack96 is right. It depends on the type of girl you're hoping to get. If you're going for looking like you have $$, don't cheap out on the options (esp. leather).

Personally- I think you should take my Nissan 'mexican ambulance' pickup out on the town for a night. If you can convince a girl to still go home with you- that proves you've got mad skillz and the ladies aren't just banging you b/c you have a sick car.

Actually, if you're going to buy new, I would be looking DEFINITELY at the Mercedes C300 Sport. The new C-class models are sexy as all hell (especially in red and with the right rims...) and the C300 Sport starts at 32. A stretch, but perhaps you could make it work. Or, in a certified pre-owned, a C350 Sport (same car, more balls, possibly better standard feature list).

Another used to bump up on your list would be a Cadillac CTS. (2008 only, the older ones have ugly interiors and were looking a bit dated...) The '08 model is a quantum leap above the older ones, and since they start at 34, there should be some pre-owned examples out there for 30-ish. Another damn sexy sedan. Unless you're an "I would never drive a Cadillac" badge snob, that is...

BMW 3 series -- you cant really go wrong with one of these
Lexus IS300 (oldish) // Lexus IS250 -- little more plastic than the 3 or A4 but still nice
Subaru WRX STI -- tons of power, guys love, girls might not be crazy over it (ugh)
Mazda RX8 -- i think its sexy, fun to drive, others might hate
Infiniti G35 -- just another alternative to the A4 or 3 series

Well Im not one for American cars really. But you can get some muscle with a mustang, vette, gto, those damn dodge sedans, etc.

Youre pretty much going to decide between:

a) american muscle, lame interiors in comparison (gto, vette)
b) jap sporty, not too professional, fun to drive (350z, rx8)
c) entry luxury, average moves, nice insides, classier (a4, 3 series, is250)
