I've never found decent waves anywhere on that island. Something about it facing south just doesn't work well. Good luck though.
I did go with some guys to the break right behind the Sheraton there years ago and they said that was one of the better spots on the island.

thats decent at times. the old iron steamer pier is/was pretty good. Triple s pier was decent but they took it down. Shackleford (sp?) banks can have some awsome breaks when the conditions are right. 7/2/2008 10:51:32 PM |
