is that what i heard today? i've never heard it because i don't live in raleigh anymore. but i was near campus and first i heard a sound that sounded like my grandmother's clock...dun dun dun dun.....dun dun dun dunnnn.

then i heard EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

I heard the tone better today in Cameron Village than I ever have sitting in my office on main campus.

I would have thought there would be a system in which if a gunman was on campus, you'd have a lock-down occur. Everyone to their offices/classrooms and lock the doors. Although, I guess having police search room/room after the lock-down would be a little easier in a building in which everyone had an office (with no students/classrooms).
