capable of holding something that is about 3x2 and weighs 120 pounds? it would be nice if this could be between 2.5-3 feet tall.

50g oil drum, or the barrels that hold pool chemicals (for large pools)

55g sounds right, and no milk crates aren't free. you can liberate them from the company but the store has to pay for them

yeah bascially. i have a 30 inch crt htv and that sumbitch is heavy. if i had a saw i would just buy a few studs and some plywood and build something.
