I've got an IBM thinkpad t40 for sale with problems. I bought it from craigslist for $100 to take some of the parts out. Well mostly the hard drive and the memory. Looks like it has the dreaded gpu problem on these (look that up on google or the thinkpads forum). Supposedly you could do a reflow followed here:

I don't really have the time and effort to do this so if you get it working then it would be a steal. I've had it booted it up by pressing on the gpu on the motherboard and it sometimes works when it's not being pressed.
Here are the specs according to the model number 2373-7CU:
P M 1.5GHz, 256MB RAM, 40GB 5400rpm HDD, 14.1 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD, 32MB ATI Radeon 7500, 16x10x24x/8x CD-RW/DVD(slim), Modem(CDC), Ethernet(LOM), Wireless upgradeable, Secure Chip(TCPA), UltraNav, 6 cell battery, WinXP Pro
I put in a 40GB 4200rpm HDD and 128mb stick of ram so that it would boot. I don't have a charger cause the dog chewed it up. Oh yeah the keyboard left mouse click comes off.
