yeah everyone seems to really be into him, but his stuff has always felt pretty dull to me compared to most other virtuosos, but i haven't really listened to much so i'll give him a try.

i can pretty much only listen to bumblefoot for an extended period of time, only because his music is so incredibly broad and isn't just what everyone else does but faster.

i have one of their cds and i must say all the songs sound the same.


they're kind of like a poppy upbeat version of most doom/stoner metal bands.

I saw them in a couple of smaller venues and they were pretty good. I regret not picking up any of their CD's. Their show does run together like one long song.

The Progressive nation tour they played Baying of the hounds, Wreath, Random song off damnation and either Drapery/Masters/Leper Affinity. Since they've released an album since then and they're headlining i'd expect 2 or 3 more songs he also said recently that Per convinced him to play some of their older songs that they never played or didn't play much live.

dude. there were some faggots in the front crying about all the moshing during High on fire. Me and one of my friends got in front of them and they just whined behind us the whole time about how they were there first. lol

oh and another kid who couldn't have been older than 14 asked me if i minded if he started a mosh pit. then like 10 seconds later he asked me if i was 21, which i am not, but i told him there was no way anyone would walk all the fuck way back to the bar to buy him a beer. one if his friends was hot though. but she was like 12 so fuck that.
