This one's easy. Tell him to have his "mover" cash the check beforehand and bring the cash to you. On the .00001% chance that he's legit, that's not something that he should mind doing.

Also tell him that you want to meet at a public place like a mall or shopping center. Don't give him any (and certainly not all) of your private info.

And tell him the ad will be removed from craigslist when the money hits the hand and not one second beforehand.
