You can look up any states "top stolen cars". It is interesting to see how it breaks down for each region. For Virginia two of the top stolen "cars" are actually ATVs, and the top stolen vehicle is a full size C/K Chevy.

Back in the '90s I had a manager that had one of these and the key was actually unnecessary. The key lock had malfunctioned and he could drive it without the key in it at all.
