i worked at a party store once

worst memory was blowing up like 13 dozen balloons with helium that were just gonna be let go at a wedding

and the black crazy lady that tried to walk out of the store with a shopping cart full of shit, claiming she had paid for it, then cussing out the store manager and swinging at him in the parking lot (actually that wasn't that bad of a memory)

We use 5 star staffing a lot for greeters and temps.

You might want to get your resume over to them and they can help you find something that does not involve retreiving sneakers for snotty moms and their rotten spoiled kids.

i recommend warehouse work. I worked in a couple different warehouse situations when I was in college. pretty slack for the most part, and you don't have to deal with the public

I worked in the warehouse at Circuit City for a couple years. Talk about an easy job. If we didn't have a truck, all we did was stand around waiting for people to buy shit.

Yeah, it was listed. Realistically, the shift time isn't too bad. I'm there 6-11, and to be honest it takes about 2 weeks and you don't even blink an eye after that. Plus, I like that the rest of my day is free.

i really want another part time job....

i hate sitting at home and doing nothing and being non-productive....

the only problem with having a part time job is that i will try to make it as close to full time as possible and end up working non-stop...

i'm biding my time until school starts back...then all the kids will be gone since summer will be over....

i'm not going to waitress or anything like that but i have no problem running a cash register at a store that sells things i like in order to make a little spending money and get a discount....

I'm thinking about going back to the crew once I get some things sorted out.

Although it's retail...I enjoyed the perks and I'm sure Casey would too

its an ok gig if you can stomach sitting at a computer for like 2-3 hours at a time doing nothing but data entry....even when i'd surf tww etc i'd still make like 7.50/hr...most i ever made was about 20/hr(80 records an hour or less than like 50 seconds per record

lol @ IT BEGINS.. yeah i'm sure you'd get a variety of opinions about working at UPS. i did it, and it worked out really well for me. i live not too far away from the hub so i thought about going there again to pick up a shift just for the benefits and "free gym", but i don't want to commit to 5 days of work and i know i'd hate it at this point in my life. my free time has become far more valuable over the last couple of years than they could ever compensate me for. it would be nice to be able to just go in when i feel like it, maybe a couple days a week

^ If you're interested, go to Food Lion. They're pretty much always hiring. And if you go in there outgoing and cool, they'd probably make room for you.

Also, dnl, if you really want a weekend thing, try FL too.
