we got maids for that

she does pretty much everything else tho

coffee, lunch, airport pickups, dry cleaning, etc.

and she has the sunniest disposition of anyone I've ever met

meetings with the boss are never good. even if theyre happy with you. i had a lunch with two supervisors once at the end of an internship and i thought i was going to die. it was basically an hour of interview questions and awful jokes. id much prefer to have my pb&j and look up dlsr pictures for an hour

^hell yeah. it's not that way with all bosses, but this guy is really uptight. i can't joke around with him like the old fart engineers. it feels just like i'm going through my interview stuff again.

he said he wants me back next summer and they'll probably hate to see me go back to school, so it's all good.

i always hate meetings w/ the boss

he has them lined up in Outlook for us to meet every other Friday. the meetings dont go badly or anything but its stressful to make sure i got all my stuff straightened up before going in

i had one of these last tuesday. first i gave a presentation to the assistant superintendent (my direct superior), and the superintendent.

the next day i got to renegotiate a contract and yell at representatives from a huge huge huge company.

it was pretty sweet.
