Except for being gov't sponsored; sounds like shit that would happen if I walked near Doak Field at 3AM or lived in the "bad" part of Durham. Africa was one of many places where european countries had colonies. However, I have never heard of shit like this going down in other places.

Farmer and family try to flee, but get beaten, their plantation damaged and everything looted. A Zimbabwe Senator blames the West for their poor situation, despite the fact that his own "redistribute" policy/amendment from 2000 is killing the country. 77 Other white farmers are trying to fight the government in the courts and fear for their property and lives.

go figure a group of africans trying to steal something that is not their's b.c they feel it is owed to them. Using violence to do so. I don't think when he Chevez nationalized all those companies in Venezuela drove a bunch of convicts to beat and torture the CEOs of the companies. Can you fucking imagine if you went to a store the next day and stuff cost fifty times as much as it did the day before? (Estimated by taking 2.2 million%, dividing that by 365...) I have a feeling something absolutely ridiculous is going to take place in Zimbabwe before the end of the year. I don't see how there hasn't been an uprising yet.
