Ok so yes at first I was very disgusted and then wondered wtf did this cat come from so I did a lil research:
His name is chase and he lost his eyelids, nose and cheeks, leaving him without a face. The owners claim that he is in no pain which is good. but the COOL part is:
“I’m a happy kitty and hope to help other humans (especially those disfigured) thru my work as a therapy cat feel just as great about themselves and realize that not everyone looks perfect and that is OK,” Chase writes. He also has his own blog.

So he's used in hospitals to help with therapy with people who are disfigured.

Hope that doesn't make that many people go ewww. with a cute story behind it.
