Since I started working when I was 16...once I got to a grand in the bank account, I've never gotten close to being below that and have built it substantially since then.

I never understood how people could over around the NSF line. That would drive me fucking nuts.

^^Only thing I never paid for was my education...and that was only because it was required to be paid for in the divorce settlement.

I just worked 40 hours a week so I didn't have to penny pinch. Not my fault you can't manage your money.

I am actually doing pretty good. Well I will be until next year. I paid off one student loan, and paid off a sizable chunk of the other. If I kept working I could be completely out of debt in a couple of years if not for the plans to apply to grad school and take out more loans to cover that.
