Although, I'll say that Heath Ledger was pretty fucking awesome. I had a feeling he'd be a good Joker from the day he got named for the role...but I never expected him to be this good.

I saw the movie today. It was a great movie, but I had a horrible experience

We have a home for the retarded in my city. It is a home for all the people that are too retarded to function in any part of society. They can't eat, take shits on their own, etc. Hell, most of them can't even speak or understand speech. I walk into the movie theater, and I swear, it is filled with retarded people. There are retards in stretchers and hospital beds in the aisles and shit, and every free square inch has a retard in a wheelchair. One of them was so fat, that he was EASILY taking up 4-5 seats.

I usually sit in one of the front rows, because it has this awesome fucking railing that I can rest my feet on. Shit is pimp. That railing is where the handicap area is, though. So I am sitting, chilling during the pre-preview section, and all the retards are just making a SHITTON of noises. There was one dude in a hospital bed in the front screaming like some one was cutting off his balls, and there was another one in a wheelchair next to me making these screams that sounded like "YAAAAAAK YAAAAAAAK YAAAAAAK," but then he would pause for a minute and start making these clicking noises, and when he made the clicking noises, he was smacking his face so fucking hard. I swear, it looked like he was beating the shit out of himself.

Lemme back up a little. The ONLY time I had to see this movie today was the 2pm showing. That was my ONLY free slot, and I had to work my ASS off and pull some voodoo shit to be able to make it to the theater at that time. I was NOT about to leave and wait days to see this movie.

As this dude is making these TOTALLY inhuman noises, I am just floored. I'd never heard noises like this in my life. It was a cross between the amazon and some FREAKY X-Files episode. The person with whom I went looked at my totally shocked face and just BUSTED up laughing, and then I couldn't help but start laughing. I was just busting up like a motherfucker. I felt so bad, but it was insane.

So, I get up and move to the back of the theater, where it was somewhat retard free. The movie starts, and the theater is kinda quiet. There are a few stray screams and "YAAAAKS," but I've waited forever for this movie, so I figure I'll endure. Then, probably 15 minutes into the movie, this chick with no limbs starts screaming. This was a full on 100+dB scream, and she would not shut the fuck up. So, this caretaker chick picks up the limbless *woman* and starts rocking here. I can't focus on the movie worth shit, because at the very front of the theater, there was a person rocking a full grown, limbless, screaming woman. Then, in a mater of minutes, one of the dudes in a hospital bed starts dry humping the bed, and he is howling like an ape while he does it. This dude is just howling and humping the bed, and I am so floored, I don't know what to do.

I couldn't leave. The movie had started and was like 30 minutes in. That is like getting your dick wet and packing it up right before you finish. Fuck that.

I decided to try and tune it out, but the humping, screaming, howling and "YAAAAAAKing" continued throughout the entire movie.

Great movie, awful experience

On a better note, I complained to the manager and got two free passes.

FUCK THAT SHIT. I am broke as fuck and strapped for time. If I go to a movie and pay their exorbitant ass prices for an *experience,* then I don't wanna be bothered by howling, screaming retards. Is that unreasonable? Hell no it's not. If they can't behave in an appropriate manner, then the home should set up a movie in a private area or rent an entire theater. Don't give me your oversensitive pussy-ass bullshit.

If I got hit by a car and ended up a howling, humping vegetable, then I really fucking hope my "care-takers" would keep my ass out of crowded movie theaters on opening weekends. Ironic? Fuck.

now i just gotta wait a couple weeks till i visit adaptiveopti in jacksonville to go see it in imax. never seen a movie in imax before.

just got done seeing it, and i can say it was worth every last penny and more
wow, heath ledger was larger than life
the movie was long and i liked that, movies should be long, nowadays people want short 1:30 movies, it sounds like thats because movies suck and they just wanna get out of there
not me, if i pay $9 i want 4 hours of entertainment, 3 houurs is close enough
