hopefully this will be soon. god knows we've been waiting long enough for it.

from looking at the packages available on their site, i can drop my cable/internet bill to around $90/month with more channels than i get right now on TWC and a 6mbps/1mbps pipe (wooo double upload speeds!)

shit, i wouldnt expect anything around here for a LONG time

i only qualify for 3mbps service from att's dsl at my appartment. it was built 2 years ago, behind bj's @ crossroads... so if that location doesnt benefit from new installs, i would say U-VERSE is a LONG ways away.

haha, but anyways it looks like thats a "form" job description. nothing special about it.

i worked on the u-verse (sdp lightspeed) project 2-3 years ago with SBC/AT&T - i haven't seen it since then and was only around for the first 2-3 releases - i don't recommend it though

i called verizon right before i moved to durham. they said not yet, but had no ETA for when it would be available. I've heard rumors of it being available, but it's always someone who has a buddy or co-worker who supposedly has it. I've never actually met someone who does actually have it.
