ok so... i have had a place lined up for a few weeks now so I have not been looking anymore. The realtor and I have kept in contact at least 3 times a week in the past 3 weeks. Well today I just found out that the actual owner has a prob. with our 2 dogs..and the only way he'll take us is if we pay a pet deposit of $900 (the cost of new carpet)...obviously, I have a problem with this so...please let me know of some places that are pet friendly. I am looking for a 2 BR but my roommate is being cheap so I am also **CONSIDERING** a 1 BR.
thanks guys 7/24/2008 12:33:37 AM |

http://raleigh.craigslist.org/apa/767651366.html <-- Pets OK, has a garage, cameron village area, $725/mo 2br house
http://raleigh.craigslist.org/apa/767238043.html <-- Here's an ad for a newer apartment complex that i can't speak for.
Oh yeah, check any apartments on http://www.apartment-ratings.com to see if anybody had something bad to say about them. Avoid apartments that look like they're sketchy near NCSU, cause they're probably actually sketchy.

http://raleigh.craigslist.org/apa/767178221.html <-- Here's another spot in cary with more reasonable pet fees & rent. My grandma used to live in a townhouse right near there and it's not a bad area. The lower priced and and proximity to Raleigh will get you some neighbors you might not like, but again it's entirely dependent upon where you live in the neighborhood. I'd say it's worth checking out. It's not far from the US-1/64 interchange and you can get to school from there in about 15-20 minutes on a normal day, I'd say (factoring in annoying avent ferry traffic).

Really though just scroll through there if you don't see anything on tww. Check rent.com as well for apartments in the area. 7/24/2008 12:53:06 AM |
