I actually prefer to roast my corn. Just set it in the oven husk and all at 350 for about 30-40 minutes. It gives it a sweeter flavor in my opinion and a good crunch too 7/24/2008 4:01:17 PM |

Put 2 TBSP of butter or margarine in a saucepan.
melt said margarine over low heat.
add one cup water.
add eight ears of corn kernels.
bring to simmer over medium heat.

this is one thread out of a series of "serious question for the ladies" threads i've made over the years. i personally find it funny to imply that i have a relationship problem and then ask a sexist question in the body of the thread
and tell me more about this microwave thing. wrap it in anything?

That's some funny shit right ther.
^Well it didn't imply a serious relationship problem because of the smiley face. Inclusion of the smiley face draws more reference to issues such as where to pick up girls, depth of their vaginas, or how they like to have their hair done while they're blowing you.
(However, that last scenario may be construed as a relationship problem and as such prove to be an exception to the smiley face rule)

you just have to boil corn until it's warm
anywhere from two to five minutes should do it, depending on how many cobs you stick into one pot

actually the smiley face implied that it was another installment in my series of serious questions for girls. i think the last one was "how do i mop hardwood properly". and yeah it sure is weird to say serious and then use a zany thing like a smiley.

or i'd husk it, wrap it in foil with some pepper and butter and throw it on a grill
either way, it's going on a damn grill

If you live in the country where you can burn outside, make yourself a nice fire, take the corn and smother it with some butter, salt, and pepper then wrap it up in foil a few layers thick, toss in fire for a few minutes, remove with some tool, enjoy! If you dont have a fire then you can do the same just throw it on a grill in the foil. 7/24/2008 4:48:50 PM |

don't boil veggies, you will loose nutrients in the water
steam cut corn or bake/grill ears in foil w/ 2 cubes of ice and a little butter
