id like to have a basketball court

my choices to go check out have been golds gym.

thats pretty much it.

lifestyle is near me, but i dont remember seeing a gym there.

lifetime is 30 mins away or so, dont really feel like driving that far, but i've heard nothing but good from there.

peak... well ive done peak. closest one with basketball was western (i think its western), another 10-20mins (depends where i am)..

fit24... ive got a free membership there.. but its a complete turn off. im cheap. i would love to stay, but im just not comfy there. plus they put a whole buncha crossfit crap into the basketball area (but i heard they took the cross fit stuff out the other day, who knows about basketball).

i may stick around at fit 24. its no more than like 3-4 mins. away and free with potential basketball.
i'll def. stay at fit 24 if the bball comes back.. but i just dont like that place.

yeah... it was just convenient at the time. plus i paid $250 paid in full for a year because of a student price.

other gyms are $600-700 for a year.

thats why i need a damn good deal to leave fit24

The Rush.

But I think it's only in Greensboro.

for raleigh, my choices would include powerhouse, the Y, and crossfit

is the 24 an actual crossfit? does it cost more? i don't remember this from a few years ago

ill look into the powerhouse.

fit24 had some crossfit advertising in it. not sure what happened but my dad told me like 2 days ago that the area was empty that use to have the crossfit stuff.

you won't like the powerhouse....

there's no basketball courts or even cardio machines. It's a weightlifter's key gym,

Do look into the Y. It's the cheapest (outside of planet fatness) for "students" in the area. I would reccomend them highly.

[Edited on July 25, 2008 at 9:33 PM. Reason : this is the crossfit I looked at...http://www.crossfitnc.com/]

<-- member of gold's. I like it, pretty cool place, and lots of hot chicks too; which is nice for motivation in getting that fat ass into shape.
