I have a Dell widescreen monitor set to 1680 X 1050 and there is a white box on my desktop as you can see in the picture. Have updated the drivers to make sure i have the latest ones. I think i am missing something in a setting somewhere.

Yes still there when I change desktop images and resolutions.

but its only on the desktop, not overlaid on windows, browser etc?

yeah just on desktop but with all backgrounds...not on any other screens

I figured it was a setting somewhere.

R-click an empty area of your desktop and select Properties, Desktop Tab, Customize Desktop, Web Tab. Select from the list and delete


Gone now
