my dad is one, and I grew up liking them a lot, so I never got into the UT/BAMA hate fest as much as most people. I pretty much cheered for Bama all the time except for when they played Tennessee. But for most older Tennessee fans (before the mid 90s) this is still the BIG rival, more so that Flawda or Gawga.

well, "started" is the key word haha... never planned on getting it, but a benefit of working at State was cheap tuition, so I went for it, got about 75% of the way through but then got an offer in ATL that I couldnt refuse and well... doctorate is on hold haha

Unless I'm mistaken, he got his PhD from State...

Also, none of us actually ooze intellectualism on this website, but a lot of us are pretty successful... of course plenty of users (and I'm sure you can guess them) try to play off some pseudo-intellectualism...
