i actually like FF8 because the battles were actually difficult throughout the entire game, moreso than ff7

and the bosses were always INSANELY difficult, i like challenge in my RPGS and you really had to junction very very well to make a boss seem "easy"

three disks, ff8 and 9 had four discs
