I saw that an I Am Legend Prequel/Sequel is in development, so I got curious, looked around for other sequels. Yes, I know some of these sequels are completely unnecessary, but they could be entertaining.

Spider-man 3 was so bad that I almost feel like they need to wait 10 years and do a reboot. They totally ruined any potential one of the best Spider-man villains could have had. Gutsy to shoot 4 and 5 at the same time. Part three made it's money, so I guess a sequel was inevitable, but if 4 is a stinker I don't see too many people being all that enthusiastic about 5. I guess that's why they are filming them at the same time. To cut costs so they won't potentially lose money on the 5th one.

School of Rock 2, I, Robot 2, I am Legend. These just deserve a WTF award. I could maybe see a sequel to I am Legend, but I could also see it just being a PG-13 version of 28 Days/Weeks later.

Don't even get me started about Jurassic Park. Long ago I felt like they just needed to turn it into a TV series and be done with it. 15 years ago some people went to dinosaur island. 90% of them were eaten alive, the other 10% came out of the experience no worse for the wear. Not even emotionally... after seeing people eaten in front of them. A few years after that they go back with another crew. The same thing happens, so they try again. Same results. Better try a 4th time. The whole Jurassic Park series can be summed up by:

A sequel was evident in Crank, b/c of the ending. I do agree the plotline is absurd, though. Top Gun 2... even if Tom Cruise came back, I can't even begin to comprehend this.. S. Darko is a load of shit.

Abrams won't fuck up cloverfield 2, and every superhero movie gets a sequel.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I enjoyed Spider-Man 3, and don't know why it's gotten such a bad reputation.

It wasn't as good as Spider-Man 2, but it was an enjoyable popcorn flick.
