I like the black, but I'd be worried about it flaking after a few years. I know you can always redo it, but I don't see the point. I'm not one to park my car with the hood open very often though.

I sprayed my entire engine compartment black last month, but that's because I'd scratched it all up using my fenders as a tool tray.

sounds like yall need to do what my sis & bro in law did split everything 3 ways 80% house money (food utilities mortgage home repair/ renovation fund ) 10% hers 10% his that way when someone buys something "dumb" the other can't say shit... it was done with their own money.

I've always been a fan of 3 checking accounts..or two. either way the point being that you pay equal proportions of the bills in relation to how much you make. so, if you make twice as much, you pay twice as much on the mortgage..but you also get twice as much "do whatever the hell i want to" money

gotta have your money to do with as you please imo

Cheap, time consuming projects can be good. I once hand polished a set of wheels and it took me a good six months or so.
