Summer is coming to an end (for those of us who are students, anyways).

So, how was your summer?




Mine was alright. Mostly consisted of working at my internship. I enjoyed it and learned a lot. They want me to come back next summer, so I guess I did alright. Didn't get to fish as much as i wish I could have, but when I did get to go I had fairly good luck. Actually kinda looking forward to this semester a little bit.

Weak. Jet Ski purchase went sour on pick-up day and therefore spent the summer working from home .

'Tis cool though, made a bit of change, hopefully get ski's next year.

Sweet and sour. I'm feeling better health wise than I have in years but I've still got a long way to go to be normal, dept. won't let me take a leave of absence to get better and is trying to kick me out (one certain person), will not get paid in the fall, my first and most favorite motorcycle was killed by a drunk driver, my other bike is hobbling along waiting for parts in the mail after another hit and run.

My department is in for a hell of a ride. They thought they could quietly push me out the back door and did not plan on my return to the force of nature I once was.

Summer was really good, I had enough in savings that I didn't need to work so I worked a bunch. Went to St Louis, Illinois, Chicago and Michigan. Went to a bunch of concerts, made major progress on my thesis, started making contacts for my PhD, helped develop a new camping program, hung out with a bunch of old/new friends, helped to build a deck and got to hang out with my family. All in all I had great summer, fall semester should be baller. I should have partied more...
