Several things could be wrong...most common problem is a bad element. Any idea how old the hot water heater is? Those usually go bad every 7-10 years. Could be a thermostat issue or a wiring problem. Best bet is to call a plumber, but be ready to pay $texas.
One thing you could do is check the breaker to the hot water heater. Sometimes the hot water heater will trip the breaker and just flipping it back does the trick.

i jus unscrewed the cover off it and pushed the reset button. i heard a noise. i'm waiting to see what happens. i felt an itsy bit of warmth out of the water. like a hint of heat. 8/9/2008 6:09:06 PM |
