1) Chili's - Quite good for a chain restaurant IMO.

2) Applebees - Good (somewhat boring) menu, good prices.

3) TGI Friday - good food, but entirely forgettable.

4) Rock-Ola Cafe - Haven't eaten here in forever. Cheesy ripoff of Hard Rock cafe (which is pretty cheesy itself).

5) Ruby Tuesday - Boring and overpriced menu, mostly just sandwiches and salads.

6) Bennigans - Who?

Applebees (at least the ones around here) should be the lowest on the list.

I haven't visited any of those establishments in 2+ years, but if I were to rank them, it would pretty much be in reverse order of what you have up there.

Sometimes tasty, but not worth the trip (closest one for my bf and I is brier creek, and we live in garner), and definitely not worth the calories.

And I say that being a chicago pizza fiend <3

applebee's is fucking gross

this is how my list would go:

would eat:
chili's

would maybe consider eating:
rockola
ruby tuesday

would not eat
tgi fridays
applebees

and i haven't seen a bennigans in a hot minute so i'm not putting that one on the list.

i would only go to any of the original six reluctantly, even if i wasn't paying.

red robin i'd go to willingly if someone else was paying. i'm more reluctant if i have to pay the $9 for a burger.

I like the ribs at Chili's.

Although the commercials for all of these annoy the hell out of me.

Macado's is a really small chain, but I enjoy it.

It's mostly sandwiches, but there are like 800 different sandwiches on the menu.

Plus there's good daily drink specials. $4.50 Dos Equis pitchers FTW.

yeah i used to go to spanky's all the time back in va...the guy who owned it was brothers with macadoo's

i think at one point it was spanky/macadoo's but then they had a falling out

i think all the spanky's are gone now

they had the exact same sandwiches, but with different names

spanky's were all names after lil rascals and macadoo's were celebs from 1920-1940

Red Robin is the model that all these chains should follow. Pick something painfully simple, use decent ingredients, hire a decent staff, and keep the prices under $10. It's hard to fuck up a hamburger.

A good friend of mine use to work at the Chili's in Gville...and lets just say after having him tell me about what really goes on back in the kitchen.

I dont get queasy easy, but Ill be damn if I eat at anymore Chilis EVER!

Rockola's and Red Robin are American eateries that I still eat at....and the

oh and u guys forgot 'Lonestar Steakhouse"....the ones Ive been to have normally been really clean (ncluding the restrooms) and the food has always been tasty as hell! I always judge a restuarant on how clean their restroom is! And dont forget to look at the health ratings when you guys go dine in...

I didn't mention Lone Star because it's a steakhouse like LongHorn, Logan's, and Outback
