Two unrelated issues:

1 - Can I remove the collapse by date bar above each group of messages that changes by date? (IE: I just want the list of messages like in pre-2007 outlook...)

Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about:



2 - 9/10 times that I close Outlook it crashes/stops responding. I use to get a memory execution error 9/10 times that I closed Outlook 2002 on my older computer, so I thought Outlook 2007 and transferring my data to this new computer would help. I'm sure it's associated with something that was transferred over with the .pst data... but how do I isolate the issue? Suggestions?

right-click on the header of the group you want to sort

un-select show in groups

there should be a .pst repair tool under your install directory or somewhere on the machine
Office\Office12\scanpst.exe

^ Found that but where would the file (that needs to be scanned) reside now that it's on this local machine?
