I have a relative with number (sorta) on his neck from a concentration camp. I say sorta because they are pretty smudged tats from time. It is still pretty crazy though.

My grandmother was Italian and became good friends with another old lady after moving down here (the lady she befriended is from NJ). That woman hated Italians and eventually found out my grandma was one ahahah. She got over it.
