Nah, the documents they (Time's reporters) found on the girls said that the girls in question were born in 1994 originally, but the documents they provided this year said they were born in 1992.

At least that's what I think I read.

Its just really irking me how disgraceful China is being with these Olympics.

From the article where the coach was interviewed. It's clear that even the coach understands that the emotional immaturity and fragility of Sacramone is what caused her to be affected. Part of competing at this level is having the nerves to deal with minor unexpected changes to procedure and shit that has nothing directly to do with your performance. It's not like they did anything particularly unnerving. There was a delay between calling her up and posting her name/having her start. If that's what you're going to blame losing your concentration on then that says more about the nerves and emotional stability of the competitor than it does about some conspiracy among the stadium staff.
