Sorry - wasn't on here - the best part is that there usually is never any follow-up. They literally pay you for your time and opinion as you're leaving and that's it.

First in Focus and L&E Research will probably add you to their "pool" after the fact, but what's to hate about receiving more offers to be included in the future for more money?

Usually, they only respond if you fit within the criteria they are looking for in the study (ie: they only want a certain percentage of males/femals, ages, types of drinkers, etc.)... but it's fairly quick, usually within a few days or so. Sometimes, they may call or email for follow-up information in addition to what you provided or to clarify, so be sure to provide as much contact info as possible.

I bet you this study was for Caribou Coffee. They're always using L&E for that sort of stuff, at least they used to.

So count on getting a sugar rush in a cup topped with some caffeine

i've done a couple research studies with l&e, they are actually pretty interesting.. they basically ask you questions and record your ideas about whatever they are researching, and then pay you right there.. it's legit.

Unfortunately, I didn't qualify because I haven't been to a McDonald's within the last 10 days... guess they're doing the study for McCafe or whatever.

^ and ^^^, I think they may have had an issue or database issue... I got the same thing even though they had followed up by phone a few weeks ago. I wouldn't worry about that though... at least you KNOW you're in their database then and might get to make some easy cash for your opinion in the future
