So i know have heard of a lot of people mail drugs state to state by using over night shipping and never have any problem with it.... What about internationally?

There's a lot of documentation online of people who send drugs internationally through the "fast track" shipping companies. I know there is a ton of confiscated weed through customs yearly but what about stuff like cocaine and whatnot?

Seems like regardless of how you ship/hide it that there has to be some sort of screening process on everything coming into the country......right? Otherwise my a friend on vacation in south america could just throw a few ounces of blow in a can of coffee and ship it out with a post card..............

Yes, people will tell you this. Let's go over the facts.

- Smelltight containers do exist, provided you do the job right, you probably won't get caught on this basis
- whatever x-ray or scanning they do could always feasibly detect it, but again, it can be packed so that it probably won't be caught
- the last two points only work for small quantities

The fact is, you can probably get away with this, but in doing so you're taking a risk far beyond any typical dealings. International is an entirely different story, you better believe they will show up at the doorstep of both the return and destination addresses if you're found out.

Not to mention, I'm fairly sure mailing it is going to be far worse than just possessing it. Even if there's not a specific law dealing with this FEDERAL SERVICE, whatever contraption you put it into for mailing, it will probably get you for dealing.

But like I said, you'll probably get away with it once.

Right... It isn't too terribly difficult to get a smell tight container and pack it properly so it isn't detected via xray (ie: Drilling space in a huge homemade candle, inserting container, sealing, wrapping, shipping with a card and some coffee and souveniers.

In regards to the FBI showing up at doorstep... Seems that a fake return address and sending to an abandoned adress (being kept close eye on), PO Box in someone elses name, etc would be feasable to avoid such a problem.

And we're not talking about mailing a kilo here- Just talking about a couple oz's maybe (which down there is dirt cheap) one of those things where if shit gets fishy its not a huge loss.

That's not the same as a 2-3 ounces. If you do multiple shipments, to multiple addresses, 14g each, and it did happen to be intercepted, the dea is not going to put very much effort into tracking suspects down. rubber gloves, shower cap, one of those painter's masks, don't leave any evidence on the package. send from multiple, different points, spaced out by 3 to 4 days each. pick a vacation house that you know of in your county, leave a note at the mailbox/door directing packages to be left at the side entrance or back porch, it really isn't too difficult. You only hear people talking about importing drugs being a very fucking dangerous business because hundred of kg's are being imported, not 14 grams.

When I was ~12 my local news station did a report on ordering drugs through the mail. I think they had ordered some off the internet, and the gist of the story was "OMG they actually came! (WTF do we do now?)"
