castrol makes a better product. cheaper too.
fog-x is more useful.
hell my wiper fluid comes with a rain-x type product in it. you should try that, no other work required. 8/17/2008 8:20:43 PM |

i replaced my wiper blades yesterday (upgraded from duralast..... why did i ever choose duralast ) and got the 2 in 1 spray for the windshield to clean and "wax"... then the interior anti-fog spray.
auto zone had a buy 1 get 1 free deal for spray bottles so i picked them up both.
thrilled with the wiper blade performance thus far, i'll give it alil longer before i comment on the fog-x 8/17/2008 8:26:10 PM |

rainX will eat your wipers away over time. well not eat them away, but it will tear them up.
unless they have changed their formula.
im a fan. but not of the old stuff.
or maybe my wipers were just crap. i dont know. its happened few times.
but i agree, great stuff 8/18/2008 12:16:11 AM |

bosch wipers ftmfw. Most wipers only last like 6 months, if that. I've had bosch wipers last about a year

I was in a crazy hurry the other day and needed to wash my car for a date that night, so I stopped by Autobell for their 20 minute full service carwash...including RainX.
I can honestly say that it does make a difference on the windshield.
A+++ Would apply to windshield again.

it's true for rubber, BUT if you have silicone impregnated blades, it doesn't affect them.8/18/2008 10:44:37 AM |

Yeah, I usually use the windshield washer fluid that's got RainX in it, but never can tell a difference.
Whatever they used on my windshield actually works. 8/18/2008 6:08:35 PM |
