while I do have to agree that those 3 are outstanding, this list would be too hard to make. it would be enormous because its so hard to compare certain people...

Freddie Mercury was ridiculous though.

dead or alive - preferably bands from the past few decades

no other criteria

the first person i thought of was freddie mercury

if this included solo artists, i would say jeff buckley

and i'm going to say jeff buckley anyway

because jeff buckley had the voice of a fucking angel

AXL MOTHERFUCKING ROSE. Seriously...maybe not the best, but probably one of the most unique and hard to copy.

I also always liked the voice of the lead singer from Staind. Shit always mellowed me out.

Wow, pretty sure i hate most of the vocalists mentioned here. Particularly Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornel. But i also consider grunge vocals the precursor to modern whiney ass emo bullshit.

But those i support, both in uniqueness and/or pure greatness: (no particular order)
Maynard James Keenan
Freddie Mercury
Axl Rose
David Lee Roth
Robert Plant
Steven Tyler
Bruce Dickenson
Rob Halford
The dude from Live. dont know his name
