my roommate works at sams club, and says he's seen people bring in tv's bought over 2 years ago and he has to give them a full refund, as long as they have their receipt. then what do they do with their refund? they go get a brand new tv.

think about it....
everything you buy there has a lifetime warranty, and with electronics that are continuously upgraded, you could always have the biggest, baddest hardware around

Wal Mart is similar with the return policy in the sense that you can return anything (with or without receipt)

Scam of the day:

1. Buy expensive item sold at wal mart used off craigslist.

2. Return item to store for credit.

3. Obtain Gift Card for original amount of item+tax

4. Sell gift card

5. PROFIT

expl:

Polaroid 50" LCD sells for $999+tax

Purchase item used (up to a year old) for around $500

Return to walmart for $1070~ (tax included)

Sell $1070 giftcard for $900

PROFIT $400

if the receipt shows that it was bought with a gift card, that's how they refund you, receipt doesn't matter

^^^^nope.... sorry pal but walmart (and almost every other store on earth) refunds your money in the form you purchased with or store credit. hence if you bought it on a gift card the money would go back on the giftcard-
