For Mech. Engineering, the new degree audit requires a "Humanities" of "Engineering Ethics."
I was wondering if anyone's taken any of these classes:
Course Title 01 PHI 214 ISSUES BUS ETHICS 02 PHI 375 ETHICS 03 STS 302 CONTEMPORARY SCI, TECH, HUMAN VALUES 04 STS 304 ETHICAL PROGRESS 05 STS 320 ETHICS IN ENGINEERING
Anyone got any recommendations? Comments? 8/24/2008 9:48:29 PM |

I also liked 375. On paper it looks like more work, but I found it to be an easy A by going to class every day and paying attention. I did not read the hundreds of pages that were assigned, but it wasn't one of those classes where doing good on the tests or papers relied on your ability to remember a random passage from a myriad of reading. I mean who wouldn't want to debate consequentialism vs. kantianism? 8/25/2008 9:30:51 AM |
