My roommate is trying to sell her 2008 civic SI silver, with black seats, and red glowing dashboard. The car is has a manual transmission. Asking 20,800 which is only payoff on the car. It's in excellent shape.

I figured for contact a PM would work, but if you need to, call 919-649-1889. The mafia lean has been cleared. with me personally.

I don't know why people buy nav option. 2k for a nav is just waaaaaaaaay too much. how bout a tomtom?

The nav option on most vehicles is a fucking waste of money. Usually factory installed Nav has a terrible interface that a handheld unit could beat hands down for 25% of the price.

^,^^ Normally, I'd agree with both of you...but not this nav. Honda/Acura has the best nav around...by far. You will not find any handheld nav system that competes with it, and I dare you to try. features, interface, display, ipod functionality, bluetooth, sat radio controls, integrated features etc, it wins. it's about $1600 more (invoice) but well worth it.

I mean that sounds phat but what do you do with it once it becomes outdated? A Honda will run for 20 years if you treat it right.

20 years ago we did not even have computers lol.

hahah 20 years...cause everyone buys cars and keeps them for 20 years. Really, who is content with daily driving the same car for 20 years??

in 20 years, the integrated controls/nav will still be 10000 times better than what comes stock.

cmon people... your average person would be fine with a garmin/tomtom nav.

but either way, like synapse said, the honda/acura system is a really good one.

look if you're used to driving around in a 91 nissan 240x, you probably won't see the benefit out of the $1600 Acura/Honda system vs your $100 black friday Mio handheld. if you've comapred a bunch of the integrated ones though, you'll see the value pretty damn quickly.

because some people aren't complete morons and can look up directions before they leave or use google maps on their phone for free or spend $400 on a nice garmin or tomtom. $1600 is fucking ridiculous regardless of how nice you claim the honda navigation system is.

it's not just the nav functionality you're paying for, but whatever, sure. you're right, anyone who gets factory nav is a complete moron. and tell me if that garmin has over 600 voice commands built in

i don't like navigation systems. i don't need one. i can find my way around fine without one. i know how to find information about restaurants and whatnot for free without one.

actually, while we were in LA 2 weeks ago, we were passengers in a rental car that had a garmin. we were trying to get to the nearest coldstone, and i could find it and give directions faster with my phone than the garmin.

if you like them, that's great. i think they're a waste of money, especially at $1600. it's ridiculous.

so you're telling me you were able to do it faster with your phone, which you carry everyday, vs a garmin which you've never used before? that's a huge surprise

and it would be nice if all drivers had passengers who would punch stuff up on their phones for them...but when riding alone it's pretty nice to hit a button, issue a voice command and follow the directions.

but i guess it's just a matter of personal preference...I prefer not to mess with the GPS on my phone while driving

its nice but not worth $1600 to me from the little ive seen in my friends. Heck I dont even use a GPS now, but If I got one it wouldnt be that expensive. The Ipod functionality is ok, but my ipod focused stereo does it 100x better, couldn't care less about the radio control the thing has. I mean I guess I could see some people getting use out of it, but I just didnt see anything worth $1600 in it.

Then again, I havent really gotten caught up in all the gadget-getting in general.

also the high def surround sound was worth it, to me anyway. i  sound quality. i could care less about the ipod crap. i don't own anything apple, so i feel it was a waste of money.

i've also got a garmin. i prefer the load time of the honda satnav. it's on when the car is.

Obviously not. All you have to do is type in coldstone.
