I have no idea how to do this with a mac. The "easy-to-use" wizard setup seems to only work with PCs. Please with the simple terms. And yes, I'm prepared for all of the mac jokes.

who do you have internet access through? time warner?

the easy setup thing is bullshit

yeah, still having the problem. when i put admin in the username and hit enter, it doesnt take

are you setting up wireless or wired? It is as easy as plugging in the modem to the wall, running an Ethernet cable from the modem to the routers (WAN/Internet) port. Run an Ethernet cable from your mac to the router and you're done. you shouldn't have to set anything up.

then someone changed it.. you can reset it back to the original by resetting the router.. should be a button on the back somewhere

not much other way to do it if you dont know the pw

try admin or Admin? (case sensitive?)

what's the model of the router?
