Right now these kids are pussies compared to literature majors. At UNCA we were proud to be the hardest drinking bunch of miscreants to ever graduate with distinction.

I have only met these kids once and I am sure some of them can throwdown but nobody wanted to catch a drink after orientation last night.

I am serious about my future and I get things done but why bother if you can't have a cocktail at the end of the day?

My first year of grad school I requested a room in UT so I could hit on all the freshman and buy them booze.


then I saw the sizes of the rooms and said no f'ing way.


so i just hit on all my students in my classes instead

man the way the economy is going and news from some of the older grads who've already gotten their doctorate, I'm starting to wonder if having a PhD in my field is more of a liability than an asset. Nobody wants to hire PhD's in chemistry anymore, too expensive. I've even heard some people leaving their PhD's off their resume so they actually have a chance at getting hired. GSK just got through firing pretty much every PhD they had at RTP
