I figure TSB could use a one stop shop for resources that provided actual facts instead of simply tossing out partisan accusations. This is pretty much open for whenever you find a website, partisan or not, that provides reasonably reliable information regarding a candidate or an issue.

I'd prefer this not descend into an actual debate (that is for other threads), but we'll see how long that lasts

I'll start:
On the Issues: http://www.ontheissues.org
Open Secrets: http://www.opensecrets.org/
Washington Post Congressional Watch: http://projects.washingtonpost.com/congress/
Open Congress: http://www.opencongress.org/
Project Vote Smart: http://www.votesmart.org/index.htm

EWG's Farm Subsidy database. A bit specialized, but a useful resource when talking about that topic.

This is a daily compilation of news and current events articles related to defense, security and foreign policy. It's put together by the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs; there may or may not be some bias by omission, but it draws articles from a lot of different publications. It's a great way to sift through the chaff as a compilation service.

I've become a fan of Twitter as a news feed. Right now I'm following:

The AfPak Channel: http://twitter.com/AfPakChannel
Politico: http://twitter.com/politico
the Mises Institute: http://twitter.com/mises
NPR Politics: http://twitter.com/nprpolitics
and pretty much every channel the Economist has out there

"The Armed Citizen" archive lists thousands of incidents of law-abiding Americans using firearms to halt or prevent crime.
