Anyone know of a good place in Raleigh to find small-sized carpet remnants? (i.e., I don't need a hugeass roll, just a few square feet - building a scratching post for my cats, and I wanted to carpet the base..)

most carpet stores will have remnants. call aroundhttp://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&client=firefox-a&channel=s&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&hs=TGq&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=carpet+store+raleigh,+nc&fb=1&view=text&sa=X&oi=local_group&resnum=1&ct=more-results&cd=1you can usually find discontinued carpet samples as well for a buck a piece.

depending on how much you actually need, I have some scrap pieces laying around from where I re-carpeted a few months ago.....only relevant if you're in the Triangle i guess[Edited on September 8, 2008 at 4:44 PM. Reason : .]
