Yes, I'm looking on Google, but review/comparison articles are from years ago. I don't know how recent of an article would give a good idea about the modules available today.

I'm going to go 2x1gb, no extreme overclocking (if any at all)

I currently have 2x512mb Kingston HyperX (not sure if it's KHX3200 or KHX3200A, probably the former since I've had them a long time). Theyl'll get the boot to a lesser system once I get the 2x1gb. The HyperX have gotten very favorable reviews as far as actual performance (vs. mem tests), but like I said, the reviews are from a range of old dates.

Motherboard is Asus A8n-SLI. A quick run through some forums shows Corsair XMS (TWINX2048-3200C2PT) being popular. On Newegg it's $109 vs $79 shipped (Corsair and Kingston, respectively). $30 MIR on the Corsair and $15 MIR on the Kingston, so a $15 dollar difference in the end. Trying to save every penny to make a good case for my wife soo..

if you have an AMD system where timings are important, corsair XMS are the heat.

in an intel system, kingston hyperx are ok.

i had corsair XMS and they were awesome, but i switched to kingston hyperx 3500 for no reason.

I've never had a problem with Crucial, and they're warrantied for life, so bonus there.

just an FYI, nearly 99% of memory out there has a lifetime warranty, so uh, not much of a 'bonus' there...
