Well, since she relates to most mothers in america, and i'm pretty sure there's a couple dozen teenagers that can relate to her daughters situation or who have gone through it....i'm thinking they'll be happy for somebody like her to lead themif not, those same people can just wait for the liberal smear machine to do its job and make themselves look like douchebags anyways like they do every 4 years.oh well, some things never change
9/2/2008 10:00:33 PM
^yeahno.
9/2/2008 10:00:37 PM

9/2/2008 10:02:19 PM
i prolly woulda voted for mccain if he picked lieberman
9/2/2008 10:02:22 PM
and lose the conservativesALAS
9/2/2008 10:02:23 PM
yeah, but at the cost of ultra-conservatives. i know a lot of republicans that look a Liberman as a Democrat just pretending to be a Republican so he can get some TV time.
9/2/2008 10:02:37 PM
i thought repubs loved the jews...lol
9/2/2008 10:03:16 PM

Plus, if you recall, Lieberman talked a lot of shit about the Republican Party back when he was Gore's running mate. People don't forget that shit. Lieberman is just an opportunistic Independent, and that basically means that he doesn't really believe in anything.

9/2/2008 10:05:55 PM
i get they'd lose the ultra conservatives. but if they're REALLY going for a VP pick that would win over some hilary lovasthey should have picked joey joe joe. aka mccain's bff 4 l. at least his ideals would be more in line with the ex-hilary's but i guess picking a rando woman was a good choice, too.i don't give a fuck if her daughter is preggo. all i'm saying is that maybe a little more sex education in schools might be good, eh?edit: but i also recall a lot of repubs talking shit about mccain (sayyy like 3 years ago) before it looked like he had a chance of ever becoming the nominee. talk is cheap. 9/2/2008 10:06:10 PM
would you like some sex educationDAWWWWWWW
9/2/2008 10:07:01 PM
Lieberman would have little-to-no effect on swinging the Hillary vote. IMO, neither does Palin or anyone else he could have chosen except Hillary herself.
9/2/2008 10:07:25 PM
*raises hand*I wonder how voter turnout will be this year.
9/2/2008 10:08:03 PM
i think mccain/lieberman woulda been a decent ticket and woulda got a lot of independent votes
9/2/2008 10:08:23 PM
yeah, they would have gotten a lot of the independents, but not the Hillary drones.
9/2/2008 10:08:48 PM
^^^^haha i knowi'm just trying to use their logic. my argument makes more sense. but no, palin doesn't. unless you are a retard hillary does not = palin. though they do in fact both have vaginas (well...i think)[Edited on September 2, 2008 at 10:09 PM. Reason : .]

Just the fact that Republicans think that having a female on the ticket would swing the female voters that supported Hillary, shows that they don't have very much respect for the intelligence of female Democrats.
9/2/2008 10:10:46 PM
<_<i don't even have that much faith in the intelligence of female democrats[Edited on September 2, 2008 at 10:12 PM. Reason : sp]
9/2/2008 10:12:01 PM
i think they were also counting on the whole "second woman to ever be on a presidential ticket" thing
9/2/2008 10:12:02 PM
for serious.anyway...joe leib is a personal fav of mine. but if i really was working for the GOP i'd probably go with:but she supported the constitutionality of roe v. wade. and that is a no no
9/2/2008 10:12:30 PM
i wish all of you would stop bitching

i think the pick was sort of sexist in a way actually. there were other more qualified women in the Republican party. and this Palin chick is a little insane about being Pro-Life. Even a pro-lifer would abort if she got raped and impregnated in one instance.
