Anyone have the 800? I assume no one has the Pro yet but if you do somehow chime in...

Going to be worth the extra $250? Everything I have read mainly says its pretty much looks, size, and battery life > than the 800 but not sure if thats worth the additional money....

any opinions?

i'm going from a 6700 to an 800w

getting it for around 275 out of contract from craigslist

it's $250 from sprint if i extend my contract 2 years - it's not worth it for only $25

i'm in love with the 800w

i've had it for less then 24 hours so i don't know if it's just the new-ness of it or the real deal

i got used to the smaller sized keys and everything. not needing full slide out keyboards really opens up a lot more options

i read that if you turn off the gps until you need it, it lasts like advertised

i kept checking the power thing - i used 100mAh per hour on average so with an 1150 mAh battery, it should last 11.5 hours theoretically

it's not the greatest, but it works for me - i have a car charger and computers to charge it from wherever i am most of the day and i ordered 2 spare batteries as well for cheap

i've got a 750 that i've had for a little over a year, i love it - i've had a 600, 650, and this 750... in fact, the 600 was the first phone i ever had.

i switched briefly to an 8525 but had cingular swap it out for the 750 i have now

i'm switching to an iphone in a couple of days though

I cant stand Cingular/AT&T shitty shitty service... I feel like the chains of slavery are going to be cast off when my contract expires on Oct. 24

surprisingly not too much--
google maps
calicia birdiesync for thunderbird contacts
oggsync for gcal
set up exchange push email from live2web
skype
milksync
youtubeplayer

nope - no lag running programs

only two minor pet peeves - i'm not a big fan of this phone call window on the front today screen. you can press up/down to get out of it but it seems to be a big resource hog trying to show you everything and let you control everything from that window.

the other one is sometimes when i have an e-mail typed up and i'm not quite ready to send it, somehow through some mashing of buttons when i try to go do something else, it gets sent. i've sent 2-3 partial e-mails now and confused the hell out of the recipients. i just have to be a little more careful to save it and exit the program properly so it doesn't happen.

call quality is great, volume is more than loud enough - and the speaker phone is extra loud. in most cases when i use the speakerphone i have to keep it on the lowest volume - it does start clipping if you turn the volume too high. bluetooth connectivity is good - got a nokia bh-900 that i'm using with it and have had no problems.

gps works well when i turn it on - i don't usually need it so leaving it off saves a lot of battery

the one thing i haven't tried is using it as a modem, which i think i'll try in a few days actually
