I am failing to understand how city council and mayor experience in a town of less than 6,000 followed by governance of a state of less than 700,000, a state that is geographically isolated from the United States, translates into leadership merit for a nation of 303 million

Palin went to a lot of different schools that I've never heard of all over the place... sounds like she didn't do too well in school - regardless, she earned a BS in Journalism
