^yea, depends on your particular install, but by code you have to have a valve at the road box and within 6ft of entering the crawl space. If you can't find your road box check just inside your crawl space. 9/4/2008 10:57:20 AM |

Look for the valve that clint_taurus mentioned. Some of them can be turned with a big pair of pliers, but there is a tool at Home Depot/Lowes for about $10 that is made to turn it.
Looks like this:
There is probably another valve in the crawlspace that can be turned by hand though. Just look for where the plumbing would be coming in from the street and look for a knob like you'd have on a water spicket.
