Contact NCSU transportation, bitch, tell them you want to try to swap your permit over to west lot or the dan allen decks. If they don't have either available just get your money back and go ahunting for some pay parking spots on hillsborough street. My brother had one down by the belltower which wasn't cheaper than a permit in the parking deck, but it was a good spot to have when he was a freshman/sophomore since those passes were harder to get back then.

Looks like they're giving passes out to every idiot these days. Sucks for all you folks who have midday classes. I have morning and mid-afternoon classes so I still haven't seen these parking deck problems. All I see are the tards who keep going the wrong way and parking like cuntstains, which is the usual for the Reynold's deck I suppose.

my sister in law was telling me that back home (nyc) they will key your car if you park over the line or take up two spots at the mall or such.. let that be a warning

the CE structures (building) and transportation joint senior design last semester was a parking deck to go in the west lot. i don't know if they're actually going to build that or not, but my impression was that they were.

so that'll help a lot, after it kills parking for a while by shutting down half the west lot.

Parking there sucks. I see the parking enforcement guys writing tickets all the time in the deck.

You can always park on centennial campus in the EC lot (with your DC pass) and catch the engineering bus or southeast loop. I've considered it a few times. Doing that sucks too though.

There was an article about it in the school paper yesterday. They said they still have over 2,000 parking spots that haven't been sold. Just get to campus earlier. I always arrive at about 9:45 and find parking in the Reynolds deck.

The DC parking permit works for the West Lot.

That's my parking lot . Besides, the Varsity route stops around 6, so classes that run later than that won't work well.

Pretty sure Dan Allen deck is for grad students only.

Don't they still have the enforcers at the entrances? They check your car for a permit before you go in.

Also, the centennial parking deck is DC as well, and that bus runs about every 15 minutes.

^That doesn't work well for people who have morning classes that get out at 11

If they have that many unsold spots why aren't any of them available on the Transportation website. All I see they have left is crappy off peak passes and grad student passes.

^^^^^ That's what our senior design project was about. They want to use the remaining space there for a visitor and faculty lot.

The only student parking that was in our design project class was up on hillsborough street by north hall and over in the west lot (turning west lot into two enormous parking decks).

This stuff is years and years away from happening, it's just in the advanced planning stages right now. What they need to do is just have a cutoff limit for seniority for the parking decks and to be a bit better about how many passes they sell. All the n00bs don't need a car on campus anyway. You should live on campus or deal with valpark (or some other equally shitty, overpriced service).
